In case you didn't realize the present time, William Shakespeare expressed it best:

"There is a tide in the affairs of men, Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries.

On such a full sea are we now afloat. And we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures."

Love, love, love vacation time --- like right now:  for us, vacation time is when family comes to visit.  The bulk of our family is scattered around the globe so when any one of them flies in.... VACATION!

Thanks to our long-ago decision to rely on home based business for income we have been available to vacay at a moment's notice!

There's no time like the present to make your own similar decision, and no company better to do it with than Bocannaco!

That is how I've come to be enjoying visiting grandsons instead of blogging -- which is also most enjoyable ... but not quite as much as being with kids:)

Hope you vacation at will, too!

Reasons to build a residual biz:

1.  Can vacation whenever I want to!

2.  Can fire myself one day and hire myself the next.

3.  Can enjoy making friends of all persuasions, backgrounds, skills and ages, regardless of religion or politics!

Still not convinced?  How about these factoids from the Direct Selling Association:

Today is a GREAT time to make a brand-new vacation plan!  With Bocannaco!

Many thanks to Bocannaco Founder and Leader Bonnie Keller and her awesome Team for hosting a fantastic event in Tucson Saturday.  It went far beyond expectations and pushed Bocannaco's home office staff to rack up late hours and loads of overtime in getting the product from the warehouse in SoCal to the event in Tucson:  the reason?

New distributors signed up on Friday were 54:  new distributors coming in Saturday numbered 150!

That meant that a lot of great Bocannaco products -- both flagship and newly launched -- are getting into the hands of people who need/want them!  AND they can share with their communities so the word gets out to more and more folks:)

There were TONS of great photos and videos taken and are shared all over Facebook, Hemp Team Leaders and Team Bocannaco groups, plus other great groups so be sure to check there for in depth coverage!

TONIGHT: 6pm Pacific time, Monday Night Bocannaco Call.

Special Guests will be Bonnie Keller, Ray Kosinski,Sr., Don Nicholes and Debbie Arledge -- sharing from the Tucson event and how their teams added  204 brand-new distributors in a day and a half!

Big and Bigger?

What's Big and Getting Bigger?

Port Washington, NY, January 29, 2019 – The U.S. prestige beauty industry reached $18.8 billion in 2018, a 6 percent sales increase over 2017, according to The NPD Group. The skincare category grew by 13 percent and contributed 60 percent of the industry’s total gains.
If I had to use one word to characterize the state of the U.S. beauty industry today, it would be disruption. Whether we look at categories, brands, or retailers, there are sweeping changes taking place to the market landscape,” said Larissa Jensen, executive director and beauty industry analyst at The NPD Group. “New retail concepts and technologies are changing the way we create, market, purchase, and use beauty products. Brands and retailers must not only be cognizant of these transformations and act upon them, but identify new white space opportunities to captivate consumers and further differentiate themselves from the crowd.”
Skincare sales were $5.6 billion for the year, and natural brands remain a top contributor to growth. Natural skincare accounted for $1.6 billion or more than one-quarter of annual sales, up 23 percent versus last year. The fastest-growing segments within facial skincare were lip treatments, toners/clarifyers, and all other face treatments.

And then, this:

Global Cosmetic Products Market Will Reach USD 863 Billion by 2024: Zion Market Research

According to the report, global cosmetic products market was valued at around USD 532 billion in 2017 and is expected to reach approximately USD 863 billion in 2024, growing at a CAGR of slightly above 7% between 2018 and 2024.

Timely Reminder of How Simple It All Really Is:

(a guide for Global Leadership)

All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in the sand pile at school.

These are the things I learned:
  • Share everything.
  • Play fair.
  • Don't hit people.
  • Put things back where you found them.
  • Clean up your own mess.
  • Don't take things that aren't yours.
  • Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
  • Wash your hands before you eat.
  • Flush.
  • Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
  • Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
  • Take a nap every afternoon.
  • When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands and stick together.
  • Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: the roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
  • Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup - they all die. So do we.
  • And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned - the biggest word of all - LOOK.
Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and politics and equality and sane living.

Take any one of those items and extrapolate it into sophisticated adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm. Think what a better world it would be if we all - the whole world - had cookies and milk at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap. Or if all governments had as a basic policy to always put things back where they found them and to clean up their own mess.

And it is still true, no matter how old you are, when you go out in the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.
